#RefugeesWelcome
Collaborative Social Media Campaign.

On 30th April we are launching a Social Media Campaign and we want you to join us!

This Campaign takes place within the context of offering an alternative narrative and letting people know the UK is proud to help refugees and to offer solidarity to all displaced people around the world.

Local animator Sarah Gomes Harris has designed these wonderful social media cards for us. They aim to push back against the misinformation spread about refugees.

The designs can be found in this Google Folder: shorturl.at/eAPT8 (more to be added this week)

Please choose one image (or more) to share every Thursday along with the hashtag #RefugeesWelcome

Send us a picture of yourself holding a sign saying:

[YOUR TOWN NAME]
Welcomes Refugees!

These will be put together to create a Video of Welcome, showing just how many people welcome refugees up and down the South coast.

Please send your images to welcome@therefugeebuddyproject.org

We hope lots of people to join us in this campaign and show that the message of #RefugeesWelcome is alive and thriving all across the South Coast!
